What each charges for: unknown and catch-all results
A catch-all address, which Bouncer's documentation calls accept-all, sits on a domain set up to accept mail for any address, so one mailbox cannot be confirmed by a normal check. MillionVerifier says it charges for good and bad results but not for risky ones, which it defines as unknown and catch-all. Bouncer's documentation defines an unknown result as no response from the email provider. MillionVerifier's home page lists advanced catch-all verification at no extra cost.
Bouncer's pricing page names duplicate addresses and unknown results as not charged and does not mention catch-all addresses, which its documentation files under risky results. Bouncer says it uses proprietary negotiation to resolve catch-alls on Google and Microsoft infrastructure, and advises caution with catch-all addresses rather than necessarily removing them. The catch all email verifier guide compares five tools on this.
Refund promises and free credits
MillionVerifier says that if you experience a hard bounce rate higher than 4%, it refunds your last payment. Bouncer's Guarantee page covers addresses it called deliverable that bounce within 72 hours, and refund terms differ between Bouncer's terms and that page; is Bouncer email legit sets out both.
A new account at either gets 100 free credits, and both vendors say no credit card is required.
One-time packs or a monthly subscription
MillionVerifier's pricing section lists one-time packs only, headed pay as you go, and says its credits never expire. Bouncer's pricing page also has a Monthly Subscription switch: 10,000 credits are $48 on it (pay as you go: $60), and the same number of credits arrives each month. Best email verification tools sets more rivals beside both, and the Bouncer email verification review covers the product itself.
